Position Limit

Yuanta will be checking client’s position limit based on TAIFEX requirements: https://www.taifex.com.tw/enl/eng4/traderPL TAIFEX updates position limit quarterly.

Please note that position limit is restricted at FINI ID level. TAIFEX will inform the broker once the clients’ position limit is hitting 80% usage. Yuanta Futures controls position limits at a pre-order level. New position order will be rejected if it is to exceed the position limit.

Position limit is applied to long and short positions of the same underlying contract separately.
Long calls and short puts are aggregated as long positions.
Short calls and long puts are aggregated as short positions.
